Craving a restaurant quality seafood boil, without the hassle of going out? Look no further than our custom seafood boil cans! Each option boasts an array of crab, clams, crawfish, or shrimp, and comes with all the sausage, vegetables, and seasonings that you’ll need for a good ol’ fashioned boil. The best part? It comes packed in the same can you’ll boil it in, right on your stovetop, with nifty instructions to boot! All you need is a stovetop, some water or beer, and a little time – then you can kick back and enjoy the fruits of your (and our?) labor. The smoked sausage we use is the very same local Jacksonville Azar sausage we sell here as well!

 

Cooking Procedure (Note: please take seafood out of packaging before cooking!):

  1. Quarter the potatoes.
  2. In the pot, add 2 cups of your choice of liquid (water, beer, or stock).
  3. Layer potatoes, corn, onion, and sausage in the pot.
  4. Set a timer for 40 (30 for gas) minutes on high and begin cooking on a flat-top electric burner.
  5. At the 22-minute mark (12 for gas), add frozen crab legs (and/or lobster tail) and seasoning.
  6. At the 30-minute mark (20 for gas), add shrimp (and/or scallops, mussels, clams).
  7. When the timer goes off, turn off the heat. Let the pot rest for 2-3 minutes before opening the lid.
  8. Enjoy a delightful seafood feast with this easy-to-follow recipe!

Each of our boil cans (also commonly called a steam can or steamer) has a unique name tied to Jacksonville! The Senator, with its decadence, is named to honor Senator Duncan U Fletcher, who our local high school is named after!

We will ship your package via FedEx Overnight. Your package will arrive to you the next day once it is shipped. We do not ship across weekends or holidays because shipping time extends past the effectiveness of the Gel Packs. 

  • Orders placed on Monday will ship same day if placed before 8:00 AM ET.
  • Orders placed Tuesday thru Thursday will ship same day if placed before 12pm ET.
  • Orders placed on Thursday after 12pm thru Sunday will ship Monday, with the following exception.

We are unable to ship to PO boxes or FPO or APO addresses. Currently we are able to ship only to continental US addresses.

Storing your Fresh Catch product:
Fresh seafood should be transferred to a refrigerated environment upon receiving and consumed or frozen within 2-3 days. Any seafood received frozen should be kept frozen until ready for preparation. Items can be stored frozen for up to 12 months but are best if consumed within 6 months of purchase.

Best Practices For Thawing Seafood:
The best way to thaw frozen seafood is to remove the product from the original packaging, place it in a plastic bag, and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator for about 6 hours. If you require faster thawing, we recommend placing the product into a non-vacuum sealed bag and placing it under cool running water for around thirty minutes to an hour.
