If you arrived here for some big ol’ cooked crawfish to throw in a low country boil, you came to the right place! If you arrived here for some big ol’ crawfish for… some other reason, well, you still came to the right place. These 5 pound bags of whole cooked crawfish are seasoned and ready to heat!
Crawfish, crayfish, crawdads, mudbugs – the list of names is long, but the culinary enjoyment of these critters is international. Many dishes will call for just the tail meat, but these whole cooked crawfish are the real deal. They’re perfect for boiling up with some veggies, or snacking on their own. We use these in our very own boil can – the Jean Ribault – if you’re looking for an easy way to give them a whirl!
We would certainly recommend throwing these varmints in a boil. Throw in some potatoes, onions, corn, plenty of seasoning, and you’re looking at a feast! Some would consider using live crawfish as the most ideal, but they’re not always in season!
Did you know that Louisiana has an official Board dedicated to crawfish? They sought out to create a market and research industry just for crawfish! If you want to know how seriously Louisiana takes their crawfish, check this link out! | The Louisiana Crawfish Promotion & Research Board |

Storing your Fresh Catch product:
Fresh seafood should be transferred to a refrigerated environment upon receiving and consumed or frozen within 2-3 days. Any seafood received frozen should be kept frozen until ready for preparation. Items can be stored frozen for up to 12 months but are best if consumed within 6 months of purchase.
Best Practices For Thawing Seafood:
The best way to thaw frozen seafood is to remove the product from the original packaging, place it in a plastic bag, and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator for about 6 hours. If you require faster thawing, we recommend placing the product into a non-vacuum sealed bag and placing it under cool running water for around thirty minutes to an hour.
